Attached are the details of the routines, a team sheet and routine sheets. Please could you look at these attachments and confirm, if you will be attending and with which year groups by Friday 15th February.

Routines

  • Competition to consist of 1 compulsory 10 bounce routine displayed below and 1, 10 bounce voluntary routine. The voluntary routine may be the same routine as the compulsory routine but can also be a more difficult routine with a max tariff of 1.2.
  • For help tariffing a routine please Click HERE, which has a tariff calculator to tariff any routine.

Entries

  • Max of 4 competitors (5 including 1 reserve)
  • 1 boys team and 1 girls team may be entered.
  • Students will be judged as an individual and also scores will be added together for the team results.
  • You can enter individuals but a team must consist of 4 competitors.

Jewellery and Body Piercing

  • British Gymnastics believes that jewellery and adornments worn in body piercing are inappropriate for safe practice in gymnastics and trampolining. A person with body adornments or jewellery must inform the coach and also remove the relevant items to reduce the risk of injury to the participant, the coach and others. Coaches must ensure that risks associated with jewels and raised adornments on leotards are minimised. The policy applies to all participants and coaches in training and in events at home and abroad. Failure to comply with the policy will prohibit the individual’s participation on the grounds of reasonable safety and may render the individual’s insurance invalid should an accident result directly from non-compliance with this policy.
If you do wish to enter any team, the ‘routine’ document and ‘Team sheet’ document will need to be completed by Friday 15th February but I will send out another reminder email once I have all entries in.

Please note that students must be accompanied by a member of staff at all times and due to limited space we cannot have spectators.

If you have a member of staff that can judge the competition this would be really appreciated however a member of British Gymnastics is coming to train our GCSE students to become qualified as beginner Judges for the competition.

Please download and fill in the team sheets and email it to phambling@apsch.org.uk before 15 February.

Thank you in advance and I look forward to seeing you on the 7th March!

Look forward to receiving your entries.
